During Rosh Hashanah, the Broken Bread family will meet God at the water.
We may stand beside different rivers, lakes, oceans, ponds, and streams, but we will come before God as one body—remembering His mercy, examining our hearts, and surrendering what we will not carry into the new year.
And thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”
Micah 7:19
Participants should bring:
Include a note explaining that the bread does not remove sin. It is simply a physical symbol of surrender. Forgiveness and cleansing come through Jesus Christ.
Also include a brief environmental note encouraging participants to follow local rules and avoid introducing anything harmful to wildlife or waterways.

At the appropriate moment, symbolically release what you have surrendered to God and mark your participation with the Broken Bread family.
What you have confessed before God does not have to travel with you into your next season.
